On January 6, 2015, the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia approved the consolidation of Kennesaw State and Southern Polytechnic State University.  The new Kennesaw State University combines the best from two of Georgia’s most respected institutions in higher education.  Kennesaw State offers graduate degrees in nursing, business, information systems, conflict management, public administration, education and professional writing. KSU also offers MBAs for experienced professionals and for physicians and a completely online bachelor’s degree in business administration. KSU’s expanding Ph.D. program currently offers a Doctorate of Business Administration, Doctorate of Education in Leadership for Learning and Doctorate of Nursing. Its academic colleges are the WellStar College of Health and Human Services; Bagwell College of Education; College of Humanities and Social Sciences; College of Science and Mathematics; Coles College of Business; University College; Graduate College; and College of the Arts.
