In the heart of Midtown Atlanta, SCAD connects more than 2,100 students with abundant internships at nearby Fortune 500 companies as well as leading art and design organizations and nonprofits. Located near the Woodruff Arts Center and High Museum of Art, SCAD Atlanta is also home to the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film, the only museum of fashion and film in the U.S. SCAD FASH adds nearly 10,000 square feet — a museum gallery, Film Salon, Conservation Lab and Fashion Resource Library — to the university and offers a wellspring of educational opportunities and creative resources for students of all ages. SCAD Atlanta facilities also include a 312,000-square-foot art and design center complete with classrooms, galleries, digital labs, library, dining hall, student lounge and fitness center. Additional SCAD Atlanta facilities include two residence halls, several galleries, an acclaimed sculpture studio, a cultural arts and writing center in historic Ivy Hall, a fully equipped fitness center and the 60,000-square-foot SCAD Digital Media Center. In addition to 17 other programs, printmaking, sculpture and television producing degree programs are offered exclusively at SCAD Atlanta. Intercollegiate athletics and signature SCAD events round out the SCAD Atlanta experience, as do student media groups and a variety of special interest student organizations.
