The Decatur campus plays a leading role in Georgia's growing film industry, generating visibility and revenue during tough economic times for the college. A new advisory group for film projects includes students and faculty.

Morehouse and Israel Partner on Civil and Human Rights
Honoring the connection between African Americans and Jews in the struggle for human and civil rights, Morehouse College is partnering with the Consul General of Israel, the American Jewish Committee and the Temple of Atlanta for the new Rabin-King Initiative. Named for Israel's late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Morehouse alumnus Martin Luther King Jr., the project will include a course on the "Roots of Religion and the Black Experience," an exchange program with the University of Haifa, collaborative service projects with Jewish and African American students, and an oral history project with black and Jewish student leaders.
